AAI Concludes The Inaugural Amplify, Achieve, Ignite Athletes’ Forum
On Saturday June 22 2024, All Athletes Inc hosted the SVG Athletes Commission for the inaugural Athletes’ Forum at Beachcombers Hotel. The forum, which aimed to amplify the voices of athletes and highlight the roles and capabilities of an Athletes Commission across St. Vincent and the Grenadines, was attended by 50 participants. Catering was provided by Ada Restaurant, ensuring attendees enjoyed quality refreshments after the event.

- Nikolas Sylvester — Former NCAA Division 1 Swimmer, Entrepreneur and SVG Olympian
- Chester Morgan — Track and Field Coach
- Amber Glasgow — SVGOC Executive Committee Member, Co-Chair Gender Equity Commission, SVG Squash President and Coach
- Theon Gordon — Director of Technical Matters, SVG Football Federation
- Shane Cadogan — SVG Athletes’ Commission Member, Sports Administrator, SVG Olympian, (Facilitator)

These stories underscored the significance of athletes’ voices in shaping their own narratives and influencing future generations. The discussion emphasized the critical role of support systems, including family, coaches and organizations, in the development of athletes. Panelists stressed the need for accessible resources and programs to aid athletes in their pursuits.

The importance of having representatives who genuinely understand and advocate for athletes’ interests was a key takeaway. The forum explored opportunities for collaborative initiatives and programs that can enhance the sporting landscape in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Panelists discussed potential partnerships and strategies to strengthen the support network for athletes.
