ABC WEEKEND 2024
ABC Weekend kicked off with the Empower through Action Networking Mixer at Ada Restaurant, Beachcombers Hotel, which was a memorable evening filled with inspiration. Attendees were captivated by insightful talks from our esteemed guest speakers: Ezra Hendrickson, Suzanna Ollivierre, Kentreal Kydd, Alexandra Walrond, and Stephen Joachim.
The Champions of Change Community Shield was a resounding success, with the target of 20 goals scored being met. The goals were distributed as: 11 inside-the-box, 6 outside-the-box, 2 volleys, and 1 penalty. This year’s shield was taken by the Senior Men’s Exhibition team, edging the Combined U-21 team by 4 goals to 3 in the final. Goal for a Cause was in full effect, garnering just under XCD$1,500 for AAI’s Support Funding for Scholarship Opportunities program.
All Athletes Inc wrapped up the impactful Weekend with a heartfelt service at HighPoint Church, aptly themed "Bring the Blessings." With uplifting messages and a spirit of gratitude, attendees celebrated the blessings of faith, fellowship, and shared purpose.
